Thanks to all who attended the "Trust but Verify" workshop, the "Quality: It Gets Better" industry workshop, and to those who visited our booth, who posed with us for pictures, who shared war stories, and even those who just dropped by to say hello. It made the week rush by - and we regretted seeing it end.

More pictures, after the jump...
Yes, our booth is one of the least sophisticated, least visually appealing, and possibly the most boring booths in the AACC/ASCLS exhibition hall. But we don't have a million dollar budget. So we go with the minimalist look. Let's be honest, you don't drop by our booth to see flashing lights or waterfalls or well-dressed executives. You're coming for the people and the camaraderie.
Here are David Koch, past president of AACC, and Sten Westgard, just after the completion of the "Trust, but Verify" workshop.
Here is the entire Westgard company showing off their thumb drives. Finally, the real boss (Joan) got her own thumb drive.
A close up look at the new thumb drives. Notice how one person hasn't let all this quality nonsense go to her head?
Posing here with Dr. Westgard, just to his left (your right), is the man who drove him to the hospital in Bangkok many years ago when he got food poisoning in Thailand. While he has painful memories of the illness, he has fond memories of all the great people who took care of him while he was there, including the laboratory staff at Bumrumgrad International Hospital (now one of the first SIgma VP laboratories)
Jim and Sten relax at the finish of the convention. The beers are just outside the frame of the picture.
If you have pictures of your own you'd like to share, please feel to send them in.
We hope to see you in Chicago next year!
